Career scientist (since 1973) and keyboard musician. Anything to do with sound, hearing, ears and music, perception, physiology. Hearing disorders, tinnitus, vertigo, Meniere's disease. I used to think I was proficient with MATLAB, but it has been evolving to the extent, I don't make that claim any longer. It still makes difficult projects easy, yet easy things hard. I might do some spiffy programming, but I still spend more time tweaking the graphics to get it to display data elegantly. There also needs to be an m-file which takes any chart and adjusts font sizes suitable for projection or publishing.
