He holds a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Electrical Engineering from the Federal University of São João Del-Rei (2000), a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from the Federal University of Minas Gerais (2001), and a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the Federal University of Minas Gerais (2006). Currently, he is a Full Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering (DEPEL) at the Federal University of São João Del-Rei (UFSJ). He has experience in the following areas: system identification, biomechanical instrumentation, virtual instrumentation, assistive technologies, metrology, and public management.
