Dr. David Guglielmo is a postdoctoral research assistant in the Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering Department at the University of Florida. After earning his B.S. and M.S. in Mechanical Engineering at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in 2010 and 2012 respectively, Dr. Guglielmo moved with Dr. Bevilacqua to the University of Florida in 2014, where he completed his Ph. D. in Aerospace Engineering in 2015. Prior to completion of his terminal degree, Dr. Guglielmo was selected to be part of the Air Force Research Laboratory/University of Florida Research and Engineering Education Facility (AFRL/UF REEF) Mathematical Modeling and Optimization Institute (MMOI) during the summer of 2015.
Dr. Guglielmo's research interests include spacecraft design, control of autonomous systems, and atmospheric modeling. Additionally, he has several years' experience with fuel cells, as well as extensive expertise in hardware design and manufacturing.
