I'm the beginner of image processing by using MATLAB and i have to do some tasks, i want to crop or cut for the specific area like using imcrop but want to make it automatic.I'll really appreciate if there's someone can help me.

Anyone can help me how to autocrop this image? I want to autocrop the image of hand only.Then from that image i want to detect the number of finger.Please anyone help me. This is for my graduation project. :'(
