Description

SLATE is a flexible graphical platform which enables users to design their custom audio processing flows significantly faster than with conventional development processes. SLATE is based on Simulink.

Audio system designers can create a complete audio processing flow utilizing the SLATE library of signal processing modules, such as equalizers, volume controls, mixers, dynamic range compressors, and more. The SLATE library modules are implemented as C libraries and wrapped as MEX files for use in Simulink. 

Skyworks Advanced Audio GUI tool enables audio designers to configure the parameters of SLATE modules, by utilizing the files generated by MATLAB Report Generator and Simulink Report Generator.

Once a design is created, the designer clicks on the "BOOT THIS" button to create a set of binary boot objects. These binary objects can be integrated into the system power-up sequence to configure the desired audio flow.
