How to connect DC Machine with a controlled current (or voltage) source

I use DC Machine as a generator and try to control the field voltage with a controlled voltage source. But I cant connect the F+ und F- with a controlled voltage source even though I add a high-value resistance in parallel with it. The error says it cannot be connected in series with the inductive element. And my powergui block is also continuous.

I would check that both blocks are part of the same technology. Simscape Electrical offers two different technologies, Simscape and Specialized Power Systems. There are equivalent blocks in both technologies and it is best to use only one technology.
