How to append different length column matrix to the end of a matrix?

Hi,

I want to add different length column matrix at the end of the matrix.

For example,

In 1 iteration, add 2 x1 matrix,

then in 2nd iteration, add 4 x 1 matrix,

then in 3rd iteration, add 6 x 1 matrix.

please suggest how to do this.

One option is the cat function, another option is to use the square brackets [] concatenation operator.

Using @Torsten’s vectors —

A1 = [2;5];
A2 = [3;7;4;9];
A3 = [4;8;98;-2;6;25];

A_2 = cat(1,A1,A2,A3)

A_2 = 12×1

2 5 3 7 4 9 4 8 98 -2

A_3 = [A1;A2;A3]

A_3 = 12×1

2 5 3 7 4 9 4 8 98 -2

The same result for all 3 methods or functions!
