How do I create a graphic for wind speed and direction of a single point over time?

Hi, I have a time series (one measurement every 3 hours) of wind speed and direction (in degrees from north) and I would like to graphically represent this data... I envisioned something similar to a feather plot (I tried that with my data and it did not give me anything close to the desired outcome). Since it is a time series and I want to show the wind speed and direction it is coming from. Does anyone know how I can do this? Thanks!
