you can multiply matrices using a for-loop instead of using the built-in matrix multiplication operator (*). The code would look like this:
function C = matrix_multiplication(A,B) % This function multiplies two matrices A and B without using the * operator
[m,n] = size(A); [p,q] = size(B);
if n ~= p error('Inner dimensions of matrices do not match'); end
C = zeros(m,q);
for i = 1:m for j = 1:q for k = 1:n C(i,j) = C(i,j) + A(i,k) * B(k,j); end end end
end
Here, A and B are the input matrices and C is the output matrix. The function first checks if the inner dimensions of the matrices match. If they do not match, it returns an error. The for-loop then performs the matrix multiplication by iterating over each element of the output matrix and updating it with the dot product of the corresponding row in A and column in B.
