From Simulink I am converting blocks/models in HDL code. I have currently a trial version of Vivado in my machine. By passing the command hdlsetuptoolpath('ToolName','Xilinx Vivado'... the Workflow Advisor is happy and let me continue with the HDL Code generation.
Now the question is: Can I use HDL Coder without a Vivado license installed in my machine?
The goal is just to generate Verilog code, no simulation or synthesis for now.
What are the limitations?

HDL Coder generates synthesizable VHDL and Verilog code. You can use the target settings to customize the code for a specific hardware. To simulate the generated code or for deploying the generated code to an FPGA or for ASIC development you would need the downstream tools and any additional hardware setup.
