Optimize antenna from pcbStack object

I have created an antenna from a pcbStack object, and I'd like to optimize it. I think I might be able to do this in two ways:
  1. Call optimize() on the object
  2. Import the pcbStack object into pcbAntennaDesigner, and run optimize there
Approach 1 does not seem to work, as optimize() is not supported for the pcbStack object (how does pcbAntennaDesigner do this?).
Approach 2 also does not seem to work, as pcbAntennaDesigner only imports .mat and gerber files.
Is there any way of running the SADEA optimizer for my custom antenna, without having to recreate it in pcbAntennaDesigner?

Hi @J,
I understand you're looking to optimize an antenna created from a pcbStack object and have encountered issues with the optimize function, as it doesn't support pcbStack objects. I've faced similar challenges.
As a workaround, you can export the antenna to a Gerber file using the gerberWrite function from the Antenna Toolbox:
gerberWrite(antennaObject)
Alternatively, you can save the antenna object to a .mat file with the following command:
save(antennaObject,"pcbObj.mat")
Once you have exported the antenna as a Gerber file or saved it as a .mat file, you can import these files into the pcbAntennaDesigner for optimization.

Hope it helps!
