How to view sig files

I have been sent some sig files and I do not know how to open/view them

Thanks for your message. I saw the answer from Gleb Shalimov but didn't really understand what he did. Is there a reference somewhere that covers .sig data, how they are formed and how to read them?

They are apparently binary files, and Gleb Shalimov used the fread function to read them, with the parameters he calculated. Try that code to see if it works with your file.

The only information I found (that appears to be relevant) is: how do I open a .sig file? that explains it, assuming that we are talking about the same thing.
