Any tips on how to get started on a laser cladding model?

Working on laser cladding for turbine blade repair. Was wondering if its possible to create a model based on MATLAB before i start experimenting. Thanks for the help.

Yes you can model it in MATLAB. I do not know about the specifics but below is a link on how to create a simple model in Simulink:
