Dear, how can I take channel 1 or channel 2 from a sound? Thank you!

MOST sound files in MATLAB have two columns such that the left column is the first channel and the right column is the second channel. If you have all the relevant information (particularly sampling frequency ‘Fs’), you should be able to reproduce the sound from each channel/column independently and successfully.

Thank you for your answer. Do you mean I should use right right = y(:,1); ? is that for channel one?

My pleasure.
From the documentation on the sound function, Channel #1 (first column) is the left channel and Channel #2 (second column) is the right channel. That is easy enough to change in code if you need to.
