Hi all,
I have an up counter (0-10) IP core generated from the Xilinx system generator. when I write an app in SDK and run the code, I get random values as outputs. what is wrong ? Can someone please help me on this?
regards

You appear to be displaying a status rather than the content of the counter ?

If the code runs on mutliple threads, the output is expected to be random, because the order of threads the code is processed in does not matter.

HI, thanks for the reply. Ho to ensure IP integrator that the code runs on a single thread.? Can you please help me since I am relatively new to this? Thanks..

As far as I know, Jan does not know anything about the IP integrator. I do not know anything about it either. However, if you show the code for counter1_gateway_out_read() and counter1_initialize() then perhaps the code will lead to some ideas.
