3 phase unbalanced phases simulation
Afficher commentaires plus anciens
Hi Has anyone managed to simulate a 3 phase unbalanced circuit, it is only a simple circuit, with resistive loads but no matter what i replace the load with, it will not show a drop in the phase voltage for that particular phase.

Thank you in advance
Mike

The AC three-phase voltage source maintains ideal fundamental sinusoidal voltages or fundamental plus harmonic voltages across its output terminals. What you should expect to see in the circuit is a current drop on one phase if using different resistance and because the volattage is kept constant. If you want to simulate an unbalanced three-phase system is better to use a Programmable Voltage Source (Three-Phase) or a Controlled Voltage Source (Three-Phase).
