Possible to subtract two videos from each other?

I want to subtract one video file from another video frame by frame. I know that it is possible to subtract images from each other but cannot find a way to do the same with multiple frame data. Does anybody know if it is possible to do what i want and if yes, how to do it?

Read the video frames by frames.....and subtract the frames....
