Hello,
I wonder if I can surf not only a rectangular area with "surf" (like using "meshgrid",...) but also an specific area like my .mat file. I tried to write a script to do so, but I thought there is maybe a simple way, maybe a function, to surf things like that. At the end I want also extrude it and use it as a 3D object. but first it would be enough if I could surf my area in the image.

I want to create with "surf" not a "mesh". Also for simple geometries like an airfoil I can create a surface. But thanks for the information!

Just substitute surf for mesh. The calling syntax for both functions are the same.
