How to segment white matter, gray matter and csf in MR image?

I need to segment white matter, gray matter and csf to find the tumors in an image. initially in segmentation i have to use bwt(berkeley wavelet transform).

Is it possible to do segment wm, gm and csf by using morphological operations like erosion and dilation??

Possibly. Try it and see. I do it via thresholding and kmeans in the attached code.

Why is the output just a blank image
