MATRIX to scalar conversion

How to convert matrix (7x7, in my case) to scalar in simulink.

i have to perform a mathematical operation for calculation of drag force of wave, which is a scalar quantity.bt i am finding difficulty in converting the matrix into a scalar quantity

What are you expecting to happen to your 49 points to become just 1? I assume the aim is to have some meaningful maths, rather than simply satisfy that you must have a scalar, any scalar!
