I have signal of 2GHz frequency recorded using an oscilloscope. i have the excel file of the signal taken from the oscilloscpe. Is it possible to use the FFT algorithm for this signal? If so how to do it?

Hi david,
No, not the sampling rate. Actually what I'm doing is receiving a signal of frequncy of 2Ghz from a microstrip antenna. The antenna is connected to oscilloscope or spectrum analyzer. I can get the time domain signal or frequency domain signal. I want to know that if i get the signal in time domain or frequency domain will I be able to use FFT on those signals?

If it is in time domain, yes you can. Just follow the example from FFT function documentation, where you change the time vector and the signal vector.
If it is in frequency domain, why FFT again.
