Interpolate from monthly to annual time series

Hi,

I have irregular spaced montly sales data - 2 values for 2 months, 1 value for another month etc

i want to interpolate this data to regular annual intervals

I want to use the function

vq = interp1(x,v,xq)

What I use for xq value?

You don’t.

Instead, you convert them to a timetable (create your matrix as a table, then use use table2timetable to convert it to a timetable), then use the retime function to get the annual mean values. See the retime documentation sections on newTimeStep and method for an explanation of how to use those arguments.
