The plot appears to have only Bar objects.
Try this:
F = openfig('untitled.fig');
Ax = gca;
hBar = findobj(Ax.Children, 'Type','Bar');
X = hBar.XData;
Y = hBar.YData;
Finding that took a bit of exploring.
