If you already have the sata ranges transXn, then you can extract only those data points having >-2 and <2
Xnsum=transXn(transXn>=-2 & transXn<=2);
plot(Xnsum);
If NOT, defined signal in the range and plot
signal=-2:01:2;
plot(signal)
