how does the VSC controller in PV array model (100-kW grid connected PV array) work?

I'm working on (100-kW grid connected PV array) model that was provided by mathworks. I'm trying to understand each block in the model. My question is about the VSC Controller block. How is it working and what type of modulation it is using? is it considered space vector? also how the PLL works with VSC to produce AC output?
