Calculate the Sum of the nightlights data from TIFF images

A program that read the nightlights data from the satellite images (TIFF) and calculates the sum of lights inside each geometry polygon.

This program read the nightlights data from the satellite images (TIFF) to calculate the sum of the nightlights inside each geometry polygon and write the results in a CSV file.
I was working on this project during my training in KAPSARC (King Abdullah Petroleum Studies and Research Center).
With my supervisor Hector G. LOPEZ-RUIZ
from May- July 2018.

The two main algorithms that I have used in this program are:
