My name is Yogesh Phalak. I am a senior year student of Electrical Engineering and a member of the robotics club IvLabs.
My major project of last year was a 'Study and Kinematical Optimization of Snake Movements', which I did as a short term summer intern in the Biomedical Engineering and Mechanics Department at Virginia Tech Polytechnic and State University, under the guidance of Dr. Hodjat Pendar, Dr. Jake Socha and Dr. Shane Ross. My work was focussed on the hardware prototype, design of the dedicated controller, and experimental setup for the implementation of a real-time iterative optimization scheme.
